Getting the right fit is really important and a big challenge for us as a small company. The big retailers spend loads of money doing customer surveys to create the perfect block patterns for their market. Now, we could just go to H&M and measure their garments or use a standard measurement guide, but we think it is so important that we would rather do our own survey and ask our fans & friends!

People comes in all shapes and sizes and not everyone have a model body, but we want to create clothes that appeal to a lot of different people. We realize that it is impossible to make everyone happy, but you can help us by doing this:

All we want for Christmas is beautiful carnival glass pieces to decorate our studio, house, car, everything. Carnival glass comes in many transluscent colors and gets its iridescent sheen from the application of metallic salts while the glass is still hot from the pressing, then re-firing the glass. It was produced by Fenton Art Glass Company and very popular between 1907 and the 1930s. They quit producing it for many years, but are now on the mission again!

This is a very different Science-Fiction movie, made by the Russian film maker, Andrei Tarkovsky in 1979. The movie works on so many levels, and must be seen more than once.  Tarkovsky has a great filmography, including “Solaris” (1972).  

The story in “Stalker” takes place in the Zone - a restricted, hazardous area rumored to contain paranormal power from the crash of a mysterious meteorite.  Three men goes on a journey to a room that holds the power to grant one wish to anyone who enters.  What we love about this movie is not only the story, but the visuals and the texture in the imagery.  It is wet, cold, dusty, glossy, oily, transparent, warm, old, organic, static, silent and protective.  All very inspirational for our next collection.

Sneak-peak into the lives of Elton & Jacobsen.  We like all things beautiful, like flowers and such.  Also we like to chillax in our rosegarden and rest by the pool with a ceramic fish.  Life is good!

Except from fashion, food is one of the things we think about the most.  Since we moved back to Norway this summer, the lack of bangers&mash with English cider and a good Sunday roast has created a hole in our lives. Last weekend I popped over to London for a top-up.
